Well, actually, I agree with your review very much. First things first. I HATE that new hair for boys. It was a total miss as far as I'm concerned. Though shaggy is the style now.

I agree about the building being... sort of... awkward. And the fencing situation is dumb. All in all, it's hard to remember why I bought this until I look at the waterfall. It is lovely. And aside from the shaggy headed boy, I love the klickys that come with it. The lady even has a neat little purse.

The waterfall and the people are the only parts I'll be using in the zoo. My  petting zoo is going to be made out of this set: http://playmodb.org/setpics/4344.jpg , the animal nursery.

Thanks for the nice review. I much prefer the previous version. The structure was much nicer.

Thanks for a great review
I do like the stream and waterfall.
Must show the picture of Justin Bieber to my eldest son - he'll love that!

Well, here is a tiny peak. I don't want to offend anyone. Just a bunch of silliness really. A friend noticed I had a lot of Santa figures and we started giving them weapons and cracking up at how funny that image was and it all went down hill from there.

It's a very funny idea.  Makes me think of the santa mafia in Jingle All the Way.

oops i missed this wonderful review!

when i first saw this set in a catalog a though: this does not match the rest of the zoo sets ???
it looks more like it was taken out of that horrible current farm theme...

however i think the pieces can be cleverly used in a separate way - in my opinion, both the building and the waterfall fit perfectly in a nativity set
i do like the figures for any modern or zoo display - the blond boy looks strange to me as well...his hair seems to be inspired in a female hairdo from the 60's-70's :hmm: - and why is JB wearing the same t-shirt? i didn't get that part! ???

anyway, i would definately get this set, i think it's the box picture (as many times now) what doesn't make much justice to it - thanks for the review, Rufus :) it's good to see you posting around! and i LOVE your new avatar's stare ;)
