That is an absolutely awesome custom, cheng! So detailed. Your work is amazing!  :wow:
His attention to detail shows as well; The sword on the warrior is edge-up. In the western world the edge was typically down, but in Japan and China it was up.
If I’m jealous, you did SOMETHING right. Keep it up. :D

I'll shoot & show you the sword holder when I'm home for christmas  :xholly: (now having a holiday with my family in sydney  <*) )

.....The sword on the warrior is edge-up. In the western world the edge was typically down.....

Hey Andy...thanks for pointing this out....just to add, many samurais carried 2 swords; the longer katana and a shorter wakizashi(waki - side, zashi- arm)....when holstered blade-side up, its very interesting to see the samurai cock his drawing wrist knuckle upwards (so that his thumb is on the underside of the handle) and when he draws out the 'upside=down' sword, he's already holding the cutting edge away from himself.....(I probably made it sound more confusing didnt I Andy?)
....ashigarus soldiers(pikemen?) of course need carry only a shorter sword for close combat  :rudy:

Yes. But that’s ok.;)
I did know about the twin swords (Katana and Wakizashi), I just assumed you ran out of room for them (and that there is no Wakizashi in PM).

but now I have PM-wakizashi(s) for my ashigaru(s)...take another look, it is shorter. (but I cant make a longer katana :P like Sasaki Kojirō's extra long katana who lost to Musashi at the most famous samurai duel at Ganryu Island) Merry Christmas playmofriends!!  :xmascheer: <*) :elf: :rudy: :xholly:

The new Special Samurai that will be released in February has 2 swords...in case you don't know  ;D
No idea if they are different.... I don't think so, but it is several steps closer to reality.  ;D

I just got back WOT,
different angles of my wakizashi holder (but nothing like a real playmo part...hopefully they'll make one when/if they launch a full samurai theme)
