Takeda Shingen(1521 – 1573)'s archer
«

finally got my soft black hat (can anyone identify the part/part number?)
a little history:
The Takeda was one of the most famous clans of daimyō (feudal lords) in Japan's late Heian Period to Sengoku period.
The most famous clan member is Takeda Shingen (sometimes referred to as "The Tiger of Kai" 1521 – 1573
Up until the mid-16th century, mounted samurai were primarily archers. In order to defeat these missile troops, Shingen transformed his samurai and used the cavalry charge to devastating effect at the Battle of Mikatagahara in 1572. The strength of Shingen's new tactic became so famous that the Takeda army came to be known as the kiba gundan or 'mounted army.'

Actually I have just had an insight...
Is the hat from the new Egyptian sets?
The gold one, just painted back?
