These are actually UNICORNS!
The lady pirate is dressed in viking style armour and is mounted upon a PINK UNICORN dressed in matching magenta horse wear.
A gentleman pirate is dressed in knight's armour and rides atop a yellowish white UNICORN dressed in the Lion Knight's Yellow and Blue colours.
Both Unicorns were retro-fitted with armour/dress meant for regular horses, but an opening had to be cut into the head dress to make room for their very prominent Unicorn Horn!
The unicorns were both seperate add-ons (from the fairy/fairytale line?), and the horse dresses and vikiing/knight armour and jousting lances and shields came together in a bundled add-on kit. The male pirate is a special figure, and the lady pirate came with the 3286 pirate ship. I decided to put these all together to form an interesting battling duo of pirates-turned-knights, pink unicorn versus light unicorn, male rider versus the formidable woman rider!
The fighters/time travellers (16th century pirates-turned-medieval knights of yore, lol) fight outside my Imaginarium Castle which is my temporary stand-in castle until I save enough for my long desired 3682 Knights Castle.
Enjoy!

p.s. forgive my crude/rushed paint skills on the last picture. Had to photoshop out the hands that were holding the unicorns up to make them appear as if they were rearing up on their hind legs. I'll make a better pic later :p.
p.p.s. Does anyone know if the unicorns are the same mould as the horses? The horse dressings seem a bit big for the unicorns. You can't even see their legs or hooves at all when fully dressed. I don't have any regular horses to compare with. Not even sure which horse to compare with, as there seem to be several different types of horse shapes for playmobil.
