It looks like a scene from the TV documentary "Ice Road Truckers".  Do you get that programme?  It deals with the dangerous job of driving trucks over frozen lakes, also known as ice roads, in Canada's Northwest Territories.

love the work convoy.  miss having snow.  in san francisco we have "cold" in the 50's (f) with lots of fog and a few days of light rain.  thank you for the photos.
