Steck in the USA

In my seemingly relentless search for Playmobil I came across a seller in the USA that still has some Steck in stock.  It appears it's only the Drawbridge and the Break-away wall - but any is better than none, right?

It seems to be an unique aspect of Playmobil in the USA to allow stores to sell DS merchandise for DS prices.  Does this occur elsewhere?
