Kijiji.ca Playmobil and Lego Fraud / Scam Alert!!!

While looking at Playmobil ads on kijiji.ca I came across what appeared to be a very good deal:

There were also Lego ads up, such as for a large firefighter set for $49.

Naturally, I emailed asking about the sets.  Here is a quote of the email correspondence:

Naturally I loked them up on the Better Business Bureau site:

Naturally I called MSC's toll free number 1(888) 603-2033.  They informed me a member of the RCMP fraud division had called them in the morning asking about lego sets that were advertised for very cheap.  I guess this guy had seen them and thought it was suspicious and too good of a deal to be true.  MSC International assured me they have nothing to do with this person and were going to contact them via the phone number listed. 

The lego ads have disappeared but the Playmobil ones are still up.  If you pay via interac you can not get your money back, like as in Paypal.  You have to get it from the person you gave the money too.  How many are going to bother to travel to Quebec and file a small claims court motion??!

Anyway, stay away at all costs. Warn those you know.  Call MSC International (the real one!@) and inform them of any communication you have had.
