cool....but why arent them in green uniforms? but probably I am too young to know that :P

We in Hong Kong call them "big head green shirt" referring to their huge hat and uniform.

I do watch quite a lot of HK movies...do ask your granny or somebody...I'm sure the green shirt might have really been green since there was no colored photos back in 1959...then I'll finally have some more customs for my green torsos  ;D

from the 'King & Country' series

Great customs, Cheng !!!

I have always loved King and Country's "Steets of Old Hong Kong" series.

As you probably already know, Cheng, the "turn of the Century" is one of my favorite historical periods. And, King and Country has done a wonderful job with their series depicting Hong Kong c.1897!

Do you have pictures of their entire series? I have all the pictures from hk045 to hk164, but I am missing most of the pictures from hk001 to hk045.

I have attached a picture of the "Streets of Old Hong Kong". Your Police Station is on the upper left.

Thanks for sharing your marvelous customs, Cheng. It would really be fun to do ALL of this series in Playmobil!

All the best,
Richard

I can hear that unique, ball-less police whistle blowing…
Absolutely perfect (I’ve only said that before about Daniela and Emma.J before).
If I’m jealous, you did SOMETHING right. Keep it up. :D

sorry Richard, I do not have those hk001-045 pictures or others not currently available on their website...I did think of making this hk173 but with a fat male chinese klicky wearing a black or blue fu-man-chu cap  ;D
