Princess, Horse and Carriage
« on: October 16, 2010, 20:26:23 »
Can anyone tell me anything about this set?

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Playmobil-5871-Princess-Prince-Horse-Carriage-57-PC-/130442257279?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item1e5ef6e37f

I can't find it in the Collectors guide, but notice this is for sale from the US, was it an exclusive there, or have I just missed seeing it before?   ???

What would you like to know?  I've got this set put away for Christmas for my daughter.

I remember that carriage!   If you didn't look at the pieces closely it was easy to try to put the carriage hood on upside down.
(And it didn't fit that way!)
30 26 0730 - Carriage hood

oh look, those are my instructions on PlaymoDB for the 5756 - Unicorn Fantasy Land ... no wonder I remembered the carriage.  :)

Right...so just another set that reissues various items....the driver is from 4258 - Royal Carriage

I think its a great opportunity, these smaller sets, to get an item you so much wanted but couldn't because of a high price at the bigger set!

I've never seen it in the UK and couldn't find another on ebay uk so I decided to bid for it - and won it  :yippee:
I already have the lady - (bought it from a seller in Malta) and the driver; in my Royal Carriage, but I did like this carriage.
I'll take care with putting on the hood - thanks Rona.

Yes, there was a thread about this set some months ago, and I had that same problem with the carriage hood until someone said it was easy to try to put it on upside down.
