Please excuse my ignorance,  :-[  I am not really that familiar with System X, but aren't the new castles System X and the houses, steck.  Can you combine the two or would they have to make a System X house?  ???

There is a piece that can combine Sytem X and Steck (to my knowledge...)
But the new castles are neither Sytem X, nor Steck. :-\

Yes its true the new castles have no houses so that you can buy add ons from playmobil DS. On the other hand, the new castles are a hybrib between sytemx and steck!!! A piece of wall has one side as a system x and the other as a steck.... Have not experimented a lot yet but I soon will, and will show you in my review, how far we can go with steck pieces...

And keep in mind that playmobil is a toys for children...having no houses, like the old castles, makes playing easier I think for the kids...

you mean do buy from ds the houses ? ??? from what i know the extra extensions from ds don't include a house  ??? ???

yes ? what makes you say that  ? how is it easier to play with it if it doesen't have a house ?? i think this gives more options to play ...

After their daily 12 hour-jobs in the castle  - which was taken over by a multinational after the King ran out of money - the knights and soldiers go home in the trailor park next door.  ;)
