wig/hair numbers for DS-order
« on: February 19, 2006, 09:39:32 »
Hi my friends...

It took me quite a while, but one day I realized that there are numbers
for the direct service for wigs...
So, this is quite useful for customs as well as to avoid those hairless
klickys flyingaround everywhere...

It is difficult to get these numbers, as geobra is not releasing them.
Typically, these numbers are found by wrong DS-delivery...  ::)

Whatever, I collect quite a few, and wanted to share... :)

So, here are the first of my wig-cards-collection...
The basic wig of all playmo-figures the "Zackenfrisur"... :)

take care,
socrates

Well, because today is sunday, and our swedish models freelanced for
other wigs as well, here are some more... :)

My most beloved wig is the "squire" one, as it just looks great on
knights, vikings as well as on police officers... :)

Well, speaking of police, the wig "policewoman" is pretty much
essential for all pirate setups....  :arrr:

take care

Thanks for posting those. I never would have guessed that there were part numbers for hair pieces.

Yeah, well, maybe its because it is a german company. :-[ Actually, everything has a DS-number... Even the boxes in which they ship the spare-parts has a number on it, pretty much like the part numbers... Well, I never tried to order playmo-shipping boxes, though.

Unfortunately, nobody ever succeeded in getting a part-number for beards or (much more interesting) for sideburns... :'(

best regards,
socrates

Thank you for sharing this information! :*)

Those short ponytailed ones (policewoman's wig) are especially handy because they are suitable for such a wide variety of themes. I sent a few spare ones that I had to David when he was working on his War of Independence series so he wouldn't have to order quite so many whole figures from the DS just to get the wigs. I'm sure a lot of soldier customisers and pirate fans will be very grateful for those numbers in particular. :yup:
 :!:
Perhaps if some of the other members have managed to find out different wig numbers, they could send them to you so they can be added here in the same way? (With a credit given to the contributor, of course. ;))

The only hair numbers I know are those that are found in the Beauty Salon (4413) and they are already available from Heather's PlaymoDB:

(Click on the pics to go to PlaymoDB)

The hair on the left is blonde, but the loose ponytailed style is a light brown colour, although they look almost the same colour on these pics.

Thanks again, socrates! :)9

Thats new to me, I thought the wigs just came as part of the figure. They could become a very useful set of numbers to know about in th future.

Thanks for the info socrates. :)

socrates,

Thanks so much for compiling this info! I will definitely be ordering some of these.

What do you western set collectors think is the best choice for native american male and female hair? I like to use the black hair with the braid in the back for both but I am open to suggestions.
