Which remote control?

I know the old set takes a lot more batteries for the controller. I have not used it in a while but it is like 8 AA's . The other difference Walt explained about the adjustments for the servos.  MacGayver knows the technical side of the differences and there was a tread about it but I can not find it right now.

I do not know if I should tell you this. The old set hand controller with 8 batteries in it was occasionally giving me trouble as some times not all the batteries would make contact when put in.
I therefore cut out the slots so that I could fit in a PP3 9volt battery and wired on to the contacts at each end a holder for the battery.
It works O.K. and is easier to change when I have the cars at exhibitions.

Just got the 4856 RC and the 4821 fire engine!!!! Pictures to be posted later tonight!!!!

Look forward to seeing this, Panos.  I have the RC but haven't had time to try it out with the 4820 and 4821 yet.  They are about the only Playmo left in the house at the moment, and they will be in store some time next week.

Am I correct in thinking that the 3169 tour bus can be operated by RC.  If so how do I find out what I would need for this?

You are right and the set Panos has been using will do.

If we can get together for your Playmobil display next year, you could crash the tour coach and I could send the fire brigade to free the passengers.  Hopefully, all will be uninjured as there isn't an RC ambulance.

Hi Elaine,

the 4320 RC module can fit in the 3169 tour bus!! The module comes with instructions of how it can fit in 11 vehicles!!! So, you'll just need the module!!!

One think though, it is quite noisy...

So are my two boys!!  With a bit of luck it will drown out the theme tune from Junior's Wii game, not to mention Miley Cyrus and Lady Gaga!!

4320 rc
4856 rc +

What is the difference between these two?
