So many axcellent designs!! Thank you so much for sharing them!

On the Mongol Bowmen: I can't exactly see how far of they are now, but I think if you have the Dark Blue of the Shields match the blue of the skullcap that would be the way to go and it would not be weird.

Your Chinese customs look great! You have any plans for Invasion (I hear there is a very cocky Emperor out and about on this forum somewhere *wink Giorginetto*)

Am I correct in the fact that Vevey is using the new Split Skirt legs?

You really did an awesome job on Balian of Ibelin with how the decal goes on on his legs!!

Your redesign of the Nuremburg Coat of Arms is really good but I must agree that the guard doesn't do it for me. The two grey and Darkgrey don't set well together and although I am a favor of that particular Armor I don't think it goes with with "naked" arms. It's very bulky so it needs the rest of the figure to be bulky too IMO.

The lord looks great although the Black Swan seems a bit out of place!

The Bayerner Ritter is a great piece, and easily my favorite! What did you use for the feather in his helmet?

Sorry Arnaud,
I was out playing as a knight this morning! ;D

I think they look awesome! :o
The Nuremberg Guards look great too,
their Lord is da-BOMB! ;)

I only don't like the armor you used for the guards...
Maybe instead you could use the chain-mail neck piece?
Or a cloth neck piece... I think those would look better.

Cheng,
Looks like we have someone willing to rival our armies! :o
Perhaps we should sign a treaty and unite against him! >:D ;)

You're right WoT. I used a torso with a front groove on which I cannot put a transfer (the surface needs to be flat), so I hid it under this huge breast plate. Maybe I can try a water slide decal on the torso and a chain mail collar? We'll see.

I've just made two real Chinese bowmen, with bows. And one more footman. And tried a black design for the Mongol shields too. You'll see that.

For the Black Swan: I know! I just wanted to use this helmet that I don't use much! A black eagle head would fit so much better!  I made one  for my Geneva Knight but couldn't find the figure when I made yesterday's pictures!

For the legs of the Vevey Knight: I think they're different. They're from this figure: http://playmodb.org/cgi-bin/showpart.pl?partnum=30-00-6632;pic_num=2.
And I think the legs from the 4871 knight are slightly different. Have to wait until my wife comes back from Switzerland with (possibly! She promised!) these new boxes! Tell you then.
The blue feather comes from the 4339 multiset!
Cheers,
Arnaud

Thanks for noticing the work on the legs of Balian, Gis! Ever since the Unicorn knights I always wanted to do it!
I'll post some pics tonight!
Cheers

Ta daaa!

Siamese twins!

Definitely the blue cap!

Some darker design

This is an original

And this is a fake...

Love this one (Chimera Knight)

And now, let me introduce: Justinien Pibrac, "exécuteur des Hautes-Oeuvres de Bellerocaille", the Executioner.
He's from a French book called "Dieu et nous seuls pouvons" which means "Only God and Us can" (...kill), one of my favourites.

That's it for tonight! Sorry for the dark pics, the weather wasn't with me today; but the Force was!

Cheers,
Arnaud

LOL....I like your style Arnaud, it's a favorite saying of mine...I'll sleep when I am dead :-)

Your left Siamese twin is missing some stripes on his pants...or were you hoping noone would notice?? *grin*

The klickies themselves are great though...a whole regiment of them would be SCARY!!

The Chimera knight is an excellent custom, Those colours do work wel together (French & Dutch flag *cough*)

And I must say the executioner is a thing of beauty. He radiates power and a an attitude of "bleed on me all you want, it won't stain anyway!"

I keep telling my wife the same! Sleep when I'm dead, and it's also a song from The Best Band in the World, though not a good one admitedly.

Gasp! What are those pants? I didn't notice! How come? As soon as I get home, it's clothes inspection for everyone.

I'd like to make more of the black dragon Chinese, I bought so many of those clickies with the "fangs" for parts. I will lack round shields in a short while possibly. Gotta find a proper DS, wherever there is, and move there. Anybody heard of Greensborough, NC?

Actually, the executioner had to wear red garments according to the Law. So he could be identified instantly by everyone, including those ignorant peons. He was also not allowed to live inside the city walls and had a right to collect taxes!
