Great new customs!
I especially like your use of the Egyptian shields as knight shields,
I myself was thinking of doing that,
and you have shown it is a great idea. :)

Thanks for sharing.

Thanks WoT!
I was sure you'd be one of the first to answer this one! My other guess was Wolf Knight but he's probably  buried in his new castle for now, lucky guy!
Have you tried any custom shield yet?
Cheers,
Arnaud

Well, I tried cutting one out of wood...
But it didn't work. :P
I have made 1 or 2 tin-foil shields. :)

But I haven't done anything with stickers or paint.
However, in a couple weeks we will all see my first attempts at painting shields. :-[
So watch for that topic. ;D

You're right Arnaud!!! The new castle has consumed me!!!

These latest knight of yours are trully amazing!!! Again I am happy to see that yellow is not a wasted colour for knights!!!! Really amazing work, I think my favourtie is the half falcon/half fluer de lis coat of arms!!! I also like the one with the towers!!!

Here's a thought!!! I am a fan of a fantasy book series called ''Malazan Book of the Fallen''. A leading group in the series are the Bridgeburners, a tough group consisted of fighters with different skills! Their coat of arms is a stone arched bridge, lit with ruby flames.... just to give you another idea for a sticker!!!!  ;)

Always looking forward for more of your work!!

I'll work on the stickers you send me sometime next week!!!!

As a matter of fact, I have already tried that too. I made a half-sized wooden shield with the Playmobil Barbarian bull head for my son. I'll post a pic. But can't wait to see your work!

@WK: Take your time, Panos. Enjoy this wonderful castle of yours! Is there a known logo for your bridgeburners that I can find on the web? Or do you want me try from scratch?

Cheers,
Arnaud

These are amazing Arnaud! I couldn't pick just one! I like them all!!! But I would probably say that the knight with red horns and the one with the blue printed shield are the best ones!

Like I said it looks horrible.
I don't even know if I finished it, it was turning out so bad!

The tinfoil shields were cool though. :)
But the handles kept falling off, and no amount of sticky glue would hold them on. :-\
Plus they were rater flimsy and couldn't be played with too hard.

For those interested in Nuremberg Guards, you can try to make the shields,
And you can fairly easily make plate armor out of tinfoil. Its shiny! ;)

The Nürnberg shields are done. I used the wikipedia image along with an eagle I already had to avoid copyright troubles. I'll make one or two soldiers this week end.

I'll try to see if there is anything, but I doubt it.... The writter never bothered with pictures. Unless there is a fan somewhere out there who has designed one...
