How do you accessorize your klickies??
« on: September 01, 2010, 05:47:04 »
I understand it would be the whole look that matters, but somehow there is some killing parts that make the look works. And it would be klicky by klicky. But I would love to know more about you guys' habit, and probably these parts would be the best sellers from DS and EBAY

Well, for me the ONE MOST important thing is cuffs… But everything is important to me.

Sometimes I think it is the cloak that gives the klickies the vibes. The helmet is also important.
Look at the different crests and feathers.....each of them give different feelings to the klicky

I really cannot think of a single item being important for customising... For me its a combination of the various accessories put together....and I usually have a really hard time to decide what goes good with what...

It also depends on what kind of klicky I need to make...if it is a knight i try to make good combination of body armour and helmet... for a pirate the hat matters the most to me, same for a soldier.

For me it's the combination of body and legs. Not everyone takes Klickies apart to do customs, and for those I would say headwear is the most important.

Neck armor can give great improvements to a custom Klicky.
That is my choice. :)

This can't be answered in general. It heavily depends on the kind of klickies you are trying to accessorize.

When I had to give a company of klicky soldiers a more individual look (because all the uniforms had do be the same expect of the rank insignia and I don't want them to look like clone warriors) for example, the most important parts are

  • the type of head (mustache, freckles, spectacles etc.)
  • the hairstyle and
  • the beard

Yes, but until recently the arms of klickies had a look to them that made the shirtsleeves look like they were too short; Cuffs cover this effect nicely.

I can't really vote for any of these, because I think they're all important.  When I create a custom, I think of the klicky as a whole and choose the appropriate parts for it.  That said, I suppose the headgear makes the most difference.

Yeah, I too suggested they are all important, but there would be one part, be it the headgear or other parts other fellow playmofriends have voted for, make the whole look stands out. I love the horizontal crest of the roman warriour!!
