Look at the new hairstyles of the kid klickies

thanks for sharing Heronimus! btw, do you speak Japanese? ...I know many mandarin characters are similar, so it does help when negotiating their site (but the pronunciation is totally different)  :)

I dont speak, but could read some of them. Since other than the HAN characters, they also have a system very much like english, but spelled in some very simple characters. I dont know the correct term, maybe we need some Japanese speakers here on PF. I think the market of playmobil has been on the expand recently, and you can see increased activities in their auction sites. Apart from Japan, there are quite a lot of Taiwanese doing a lot of very nice playmobil story telling and photography. Probably they are less realistic as us in Hong Kong and could afford more time on playmobil.

Hi,

I do not think that the hair can be pulled off the klicky! I can recall that in the older kid klickies the hair are imbedded in the head.

But why would you want to change them anyway? I think they look really great!!!

The little girl's one is ok, but the Justin Bieber style for the boys is a no-no for me. Just my opinion~~~
I think I will stick with their traditional style and image of klickies.

In Japanese the characters you are calling HAN are called Kanji, there are actually two additional alphabets made up out of syllables (for instance ka, n, ji). The syllabary used mostly for Japanese words is called Hiragana and the one for foreign words and some other uses is called Katakana. I took a year of Japanese in college, so I understand the basics of the writing system but can't actually read anything any more.

OH YEAH~~~this is good. I guess you can visit those auction sites on Japanese and hunt for good deals. They have some vintage stores in Tokyo, which also have online store. Their prices are really high. But if you go sites like yahoo.co.jp auction...some individual sellers might offer nice and RARE items!! at least to me they are rare

I agree about the hair.  It looks much more natural and "real" than the old style.  I just wonder if the hats will work with them (I'm thinking not).

It would be nice if Playmobil could come up with a compromise somehow for hair, have it both look realistic as well as be functional.

I agree too.... it looks a lot better, more real and updated, it was time for a change. I love them. Though this hair makes the boy's heads a little too big! Girls' seemed to be better proportioned.

The hair in old kid clickies cannot be removed!

Seems like people's opinion on the new changes, like the hairstyle and emotional changing face, is quite divided~~~
