Old Bob kinda reminds me of Playmofire. He's been around for awhile and he seems to have the wisdom of his years. "Live to fight another day kid ..."
Jeremy reminds me of one of our younger members here at Playmofriends. Wonder who that could be? ... 
The bandits appear somewhat compassionate toward their prisoners. However, they seem to be rather stupid. They go to the trouble of concealing their identities with masks. But, then they talk too much and even call each other by name.
The US Army sergeant obviously had no plan to protect the gold if they were ambushed by robbers. He's lucky to still be alive.
Bob and Mr. and Mrs. Anderson get the vote for being the most intelligent. They may not be brave or foolhardy, but they'll be around to tell the story ...

The bandits are not killers but they would not hesitate to shoot a man down if he stands in their way, and yes they aren't too bright either, perhaps we'll see that again...!
The sergent was not ready at all for this, since the shipment was only known to a few people...
