Love the wandering monk and the 3654 Tournament tent, and of course 3653 as Playmo1989 said was the best of the tournament
main sets. They've done a couple of other versions over the years, but they never topped this one for completeness. I'm not so keen on the chromed knights of the 3265 era, but maybe that's because I never had them as a child.
I wish Playmobil had continued the tournament tent idea and created a tent for each full-carapison knight. It could have become an annual release with guaranteed sales. The only other one I know of is the 3837 Fairytale Tournament tent. Imagine the color and spectacle of a field of these tents in all their different heraldry with knights getting into their armor, squires running around making last minute adjustments, and the crowd of followers all getting drunk and eating popcorn. Wasn't medieval life in the Playmobil world so much richer and more evocative when not everybody was trying to bash someone else's brains out?
OTOH they reused the tent frame in the Roman set 4273 but I only ever bought one as it was so expensive! I see it's now available (in the US) as add-on set 7471 without the figures, which makes it a less eye-watering $11. Maybe I should get a few, create some templates for new fabric sides, and create a Field of the Cloth of Gold diorama.
