Pictures speak a thousand words.
Here are some pictures (excuse the quality, it was just with my ipod touch at night in my garage so there was no flash and the lighting was not the best).
You can see there are some custom touches to some of the figures (I just grabbed a few out of the bin with figures that seemed kind of neat and called out).
Since this was a collection of an elderly lady who passed away the touches she put on them will not be removed. She obviously did this out of love and care and will be kept for posterity reasons and respect.
She painted some of the hinges on the doors (a touch I always thought Playmobil should have done). She also painted the spigots on the barrels (I found three large barrels on the tops of the piles last night - I know it's not much now they are rereleased (which is a good thing) but I've never had them before).
The olde female figure was interestingly customised with material to make a dress and a cape.
Initially looking at the pieces showed she also glued parts in place - structures as well as people in place. Apparently she had a family room in her house set up with the sets - a room sized diorama. It would be wonderful to see a picture of it, but I have not been able to see one.
Everything is in mint condition (minus the glue and some mild customization).
Little hints and clues are showing themselves in the pieces as to what is present. 2nd pic from bottom shows a siege ladder which would indicate 3123 or 3888. Since there is no seige tower that I saw it's probably 3888.
