I might touch up some details (get rid of the loose threads), repaint where it has worn or not adhered properly, etc.

Oh, I also found the forge for the blacksmith.  It's going to take a while to go through all the stuff.  LOL

Wish you guys were here to help me.

I found a sign that reads 'Ratskeller' (although it looks like Ratsfeller).  What set is that off of?  I know some came with two different sets of signs (ie the Inn).  I was wondering if this was for the 3444.

I found a pic on ebay but it says for the 3666 ...  obviously they don't know what it goes with either.

:eh?: have no clue... I don't thinl these houses came with an alternate sign, but the various version of them did come with a different sign, i.e. the second version of a house or the third could have a different colour or word sign from the first one... let me check the collector...

Thank you!

I had mine hanging on the door knob in a bag and it's not there now ...  My wife must have hidden it ...

keller means cellar in English.  Town Cellar?  Could be for the guard house (3444)?

It's nice that you will leave some of her customs as is. This is very sad to me, really.... these toys were once someone's pride and joy, and here they are chunked in a box and sold on ebay..... very sad. The same could happen to our collections one day. :-\

In the end, we will conserve only what we love. We will love only what we understand. We will understand only what we are taught.

I can't find any version of any house with this sign...  ??? But, since ''rats'' means advice, if I am translating correctly... and the Nuremburg coat of arms indicates a house of some authority...  and since ''rathaus'' means city hall, thats 3447, and it does actually write 'rathaus'... maybe ''keller'' is another word for ''hall''? So probably this 'ratskeller' sign is from a version of 3447, a version that is not in the collector  :o :o :o I think we may have made a new discovery here!!!

Yes.  That is why I'm taking care of this.  I want to have it as a memorial collection and it will not just get mixed in with the other stuff I have.

That said, when we die, the least of our worries will be our material goods we leave behind.

And that said, this was something very special to an elderly lady.  I believe it deserves to be treated specially.

It is from the 3447, i have  two signs for it they read RATHAUS and its b;ack letters in dark orange background, though this sign with the nuremberg crest looks better . have a suspicion might be from the 3444 tower also but i put my money on the 3447 due to the ' rat word part  :)

All this steck, my god, what a great haul this is , i am itchy to buy more steck looking at all these walls etc , the thing playmobil ever made , by far the best , system x , this clip rubbish etc pale in comparison to the mediaval steck sets !!!!  :) :) :) :)
:knight: Steck is Holy . Bring back more steck sets and its guardians , the Nuremberg Guards :knight:

I don't think it is for the Rathaus because that has a sign that read Rathaus. This is on another plastic sign so it must be from another building. (even though Playmobil may have given two sets of decals in the older sets they only gave one item to affix it to so you had to choose)

I bet someone on klickwelt would know.

Okay, the girls and I started to go through the smaller of the tubs today.  This one has a lot of small accessories in it.

You can see how many figures we got out of it.  The girls are in the pink container and the other one is for the guys.

The hair is all messed up and so are the accessories and armour.  Something tells me this is not the way it was at the lady's house when she had her display.  It will take a while to figure out which hair goes with whom and which accessories go where.

I'm not complaining, just stating a fact.  This is actually a lot of fun and a kind of adventure / puzzle.
