I thought the horse itself costs more than USD 4 from DS, does it??
And I find it really awesome to see they are releasing something unique for the U.S. market, instead of just bringing spare parts together forming a awkward looking klicky, like the latest pirate duo pack!

Hi

I am glad they finally released the cape in not only a different color but in a set we can actually get in the US. The one in the movie was never around our area and I did not really like the red color. This gray one will fit with a lot of different Klickies. The only problem is that since it is embedded in the Klicky you will either have to buy the entire set or order the entire Pirate from DS and I do not like the color tone of that small ship

These new to TRU sets are even allowing us to order the Treasure Hunters & Asian Zoo Themes early in the US  :yippee:

The new blisters do not seem like such a great bargain anymore. The old ones were 2 Klickies for $3 . Now it is 2 Klickies a horse/boat for $7. The extra horse/boat is not worth the extra $4.  :(

Hi

Typically a Klicky can cost up to $2.50 from DS. So if Playmobil was selling them in dual packs at Target/TRU for $3 with the accessories it was a great deal many of us just could never resist. I do not need two dozen rowboats or pink octopuses  just to have the Klickes that are in the pack. So to me they are quite useless beyond a couple.

I am not sure about the horse price from DS as I have never needed to order any. I would imagine they would be close to $4 with out the armor. DS is a very expensive parts replacement solution that I try to avoid. These blisters, especially the old ones were great army builders for cheaper than used prices. I just need to track down the elusive ACW set (at $3 I will surely buy 20)

I get it  Since my collection is still small, and have yet faced similar condition. This really is troublesome getting hundreds of boats :-[

Thanks for posting, Andi!

I went to TRU yesterday, but did not see them there yet.
I like the new ghost pirates, and the new coat.

Best regards,
Jimbo

There's a whole bunch of new sets on their website.

While I agree with Ras that the inclusion of a horse (I have hundreds) or small rowing boat (I have dozens) decreases the value of the blisters for me, they're a good way to get extra horse/boats if you don't already have them, and better value than the carry cases.

Tim mentioned to me a couple of days ago that a new green dragon was coming, and he appears in a set with a a cut-down tower from the Dragon realm for $30. I'll have to get at least one of those.

Knowign how limited our TRU shelves are locally, I'm wondering which of these new sets will appear there at all, and which I might have to order online.

Those Safari sets that were spotted at Target are also available through TRU US online  and they seem to have loads of stock and free shipping if you order over 75....I get greedy just looking at everything!

US is a playmobil heaven. Low SRP, well developed online shopping system and free shipping (virtually) all year long.
