You can see my cross bow me have the pavise as they would have had in period,
But my short-bow men couldn't hold a shield like that and shoot at the same time.
(Unlike crossbow-men who only need 1 hand to shoot.)

The buckler they can hold with only 2 or 3 fingers, so they could hook it around their hand while shooting, or tie it on their belts.

Great points there warrior!!! I was not intending on using any other bow except of a crossbow ;) !

 :clap: :clap: :clap: Excellent customs again! I do so enjoy looking at your armies. If you want bronze weapons etc have you thought about spray painting with an enamel paint?

Yes I did thought of using paint for them. Having done so in the past though, I also thought of changing klickies and accessories many times again and again, so it would be pity if I did not like the result and have to start unpainting the various items in order to use them somewhere else....

Yes, your archers definitely should use crossbows, as regular bows just won't do for these tough guys!

Great customs!! The one that became your new avatar is my favourite one  :love:

I'm awaiting a package with some of the bronze parts to finish my own "bronze knight", to go along with my "anthracit Hell's Knights".  ;)
