Great storage boxes

When Mum was sorting out some stuff, she came across some old jewellry boxes that she no longer wanted. So I claimed them for Playmobil

In them I put all of my spare fire bits and pieces (helped stocked by AndyR)







There are black velvet pieces in the bottoms which would stop jewellry from shifting about when the draw is open/closed, so I left them in and it works a treat.


The second storage box that I am pleased with is this one. There used to be a Lego Mindstorms kit in it, so I chucked that out, and put my spare hats/hair/cuffs/shoes etc in it.



It has a stong, see through clip on lid, and a tray that lifts out









I haven't finished filling it yet, but I am really pleased with it and it works very well as all these types of items were mixed up in an old, noisy sweet tin before, which made finding things difficult.

Yes only one, but the compartments are of a very good size for these types of bits (perhaps I will move the hair clips)

I really need to sort out the drawer I keep collars, cuffs, shoes etc. in as it takes ages to find things.

Thanks guys, Sorting Playmo is a never ending task in my house, I don't know about anybody else but I just seem to accumilate boxes of odd bods that continually need to be sorted and categorised

For all the small accessories I am using these:


The drawers can be used as one, or separated into two or three compartments...


I need to build so many knights...but haven't got the time...

I think I like your green ones better Damo! Much easier to see whats in them... i keep forgetting where an accessory or two are in here....

I also have these drawers which are similar to yours, Panos



They aren't as deep as yours, but they are still pretty hard to see into, which is why most of them just contain matching parts, but I can see where yours would be frustrating in that if it is devided into three, then it makes it very difficult to see whats at the back.

And you'd end up like me hurredly opening each drawer in turn trying to find a certain part

Thats why I like your green ones better ... lots of opening and closing, believe me... trying to remember them by heart these days.
