I'm wondering how common red hair is in Spanish and Portuguese nations.

Very stranger here in Spain, maybe brown hair is more realistic.

And some say blond.

But descriptions of hair color are often culturally biased. For a lot of cultures blond was a name for any hair color other than black.

Native Americans would have called a large range of hair colors blond, especially in the 16th century.

I looked at him and thought the same think Wolf Knight.

I really want to build a conquistador army as well!
But it will have to be after my Medieval army,
Japanese army,
Colonial English army, (which I am now making into a period army)
And another Medieval faction!
All before I can make a Conquistador army!

On the whole, this conquistador looks pretty good, although I would have given him the newer morion design and dark hair.  If I didn't already have a company of these guys http://playmodb.org/cgi-bin/showpart.pl?partnum=30%2000%204352 and a company of customized Englishmen to fight them, I would purchase a company of these new Specials.  Maybe I will buy a company anyway.

Regarding the three different morion types, all are appropriate.  I used the newer style for my Spanish, the style that comes with this conquistador for my English, and the oldest style for my late Medieval period men at arms.
