@tahra: the photos were taken a few years ago. There are even more now. I have to put them up again some time.
Here is another scene from an old photoshoot.

Wow. Again, so colorful...

Riding hats for soldiers? :o  They look great! (is that a flower on top?)

Love the purple ones, and the browns (duh, right?) - those are custom printed, right?  (and possibly more?)

Well, the riding hats combined with flowers on top are the closest I could get to the strange headgear the French invented in Egypt.
The toros are not custom-printed, they are "custom-erased". They all come from older knights. Just eraes four lines of dots.

:o  Doh! I didn't think of that possibility! Now I feel dumb  :-[ ::)

Great idea. Not doable here, since dotted torsos for medieval and company are a lot more interesting to me, but.... awesome.

The group shots and battle dioramas strongly remind me of period paintings – impressive work.

I am always amused by Playmobil's water bottles (canteens). If I remember correctly, they made their first appearance with the American Civil War figures. The reason that they make me smile is because I think that they look like giant cashews.  :)

Richard, thank you for your kind words and for the link. Nevertheless I will post most of my older pictures in this thread to "keep them together". Here are a few of the earliest pictures I took.
