First 100% Playmobil shop in Europe

Looking on klickywelt yesterday I came across a post by a Norwegian member there about a shop in Norway which is the first shop in Europe to sell ONLY Playmobil.  There were a good selection of pictures and so I asked Erik Skaarup if I could use them here, and he has agreed. So with many thanks to Erik Skaarup here we go.

The shop is called playmobilbutikken in the town of Kragero and for those visiting Norway or living there the address is : playmobilbutikken, torvgt. 14, 3770 Kragerø.  I'll find out more about the town later and post information on it.  I guess "butikken" would translate as "shop" or "boutique".

I'm downloading the photos and then transferring to my photobucket account today, so watch this space.

Is it considered like a Playmobil funpark or company store as we have here in the USA, Gordon?

There has been one in Holland for some years.

But the one in Norway deals only in new Playmobil.  (But the Netherlands one is very interesting because it deals only in 2nd hand Playmobil.  I shall look at what it has in stock.  Hmmm, not sure you can view the stock on-line or do you have to set up an account first?)

Right, folks, here we go.

First some photos of the outside of the shop with the big figures on guard.  (I wonder if they leave them out overnight?)  Notice in the second photo confirmation that it is the first Playmobil store in Europe.  Now does this mean that it is owned by Playmobil, like the FunParks, or does it mean that it is the first store in Europe that sells only Playmobil but is privately owned?  Is there a Norwegian member who can help?
