Hello Heronimus
Absolutely ! Let me introduce you to
Mr & Mrs Macclesfield I remember giving them the name of "Macclesfield" when I first purchased my Victorian collection back in the summer of 1990 and I sat down one evening looking at a geographic atlas looking for "British" names and "Macclesfield" sounds just perfect to me
I take them with me on my trips around the UK this summer and you can follow their joyous tribulations in the
Members News section in the thread "
Playmovictorian's Escapades around the UK"...
They will next board the Shakespeare Express with me
And to develop your question, I also give names to the principal characters of my dioramas. For example, my new diorama "Summer Garden Party on Regent St" will have a Head Gardener Lady called Miss Periwinkle, not to forget the famous actress Sarah Bernhardt and the opera singer Maria Malibran each competing for the limelight
As far as the Gentlemen are concerned, I have invited Sherlock Holmes, I am still looking for Dr Watson and I will introduce you to a French Gentleman Thief in the name of Arsene Lupin
