playmobil fabrics

from what i know only the 3550 ship sails are from fabrick all the other ship sails , carpets ,tents are plastick this is correct or wrong??
 
the curtines of the 5300-5305 houses are from cotton? but i wouldn't call it fabrick

The 3940 sails are fabric as are the sails of the schooner and other ships based on it.

 they are?? and the 3750 too?  i remember i ironed the 3940 sails and they smelled burned plastick so i stopped ironing them so some carpets as well

I seem to remember they were, and certainly the schooner and corsair vessels have fabric.

what do i say i don't know the schooner you mean 3940-3055 ,which are the corsair vessels?? they might have plastick in them as well,where have you heard that they were fabric?

i have them too !!
 
perhaps if i'am not mistaken the 3860 is from the same material with the house 5300 curtines but a little thicker the others have plastick surely because they smelled burned plastic when i  ironed them

Maybe the 3940 has some plastic or similar (e.g. nylon) in the sails.  However, the corsairs and schooner are fabric.  See here:

Having made sails of the same weight and feel as the corsair sails, the material I used had a sort of rubbery backing that bonded it together, so maybe the sails are bonded together in some way so they feel like fabric, but because of what is used in the process it would smell if the iron was too hot. 
(Does this make sense?)

I think the curtains from the mansion are made of a type of felt.

The sails for the corsair felt like felt to me, Elaine, and single thickness.
