It was because there was a small crack in the front, but I hadn't noticed that somebody had tried to glue it, and so of course the whole lot just shattered everywhere :'( :'( :'(

Would Polyweld hold it together Damo?
Could you post some pics of the reels you want?

It may, but I think it is just too far gone, as some bits have sharded.

There are no pics of the reels as the set has not been fully inventoried yet on PlaymoDB. From looking at Bill's pics, they are much larger and longer than the usual ones and only appeared in this set.

It appears that I seem to have a lot of roof furniture missing as well ???

Speaking of Bill, where is he? - I would of thought he could 'smell' 3526's like Giorginetto can 'smell' Nuremburg guards! ;D

Bill is moving house!

The large hose reels are very rare I'm afraid.  A search on eBay UK with the European Union option for Playmobil feuerwehr might throw some up as there are one or twp German sellers with eBay shops which sell parts.

It seems as if the whole fire engine is very rare, I ended up just searching the whole of ebay.de, and then just searched for 3526 and it only came up with two lots - a guard and a bit of green plastic :-\

It sounds like you got taken advantage of flatcat. The 3526 fire engines are in themselves VERY RARE, & any replacement parts are even rarier to find separate. You may want to contact the seller to request a refund & return them before you do any disassembly which could cause you to be accused of rendering the damage. I personally didn't paint any of my 3526 projects due to wanting them to remain in their original color of red/orange. Also painting parts causes the operation of them to not operate smoothly. There are topics in the custom & story telling boards showing some of my projects utilizing custom parts conversions for missing original parts for these excellent fire engines .

Forget about all of the other stuff,....all we need is the reintroduction of the 3526 Fire Engine!

I have a couple of parts you can have (free), but they’re inventory, not vehicle parts (a pump, a couple hoses, some connectors). If you want them they’re yours; PM me an address to mail them to.

Dude- Sorry about your luck :(
If I’m jealous, you did SOMETHING right. Keep it up. :D

Sorry Damo for the trucks and how you can't fix them easily.I wish I could help, its just that I'm not sure how. Those are very good trucks but in poor condition. I guess what Bill said, if you would like to contact the seller to see if you could get a refund or something. Sorry,

Thanks everyone, I will drop the seller an email tonight - I have their phone number as well :evilplan:

Thanks for the offer, Andy, I think I have plenty of hoses and connectors and wouldn't want to be greedy :)
