Tricky, this one. Gleuing won´t be such a problem, but will it hold when you put it in your clicky?

You can glue the belt on the klicky. If you´re carefull, it won´t show.

Your can reinforce it on the inner side. Remove some material from the inner side with a multitool. Make a groove as it were. Then glue in a piece of metal wire.

Hi

Can't you just order one from DS?  The belts in 7273 are the black and dark brown ones and all you have to do is paint it what ever color you need. I have a pile of broken belts but only keep them for custom jobs. Since you have to bend the part to install it, it will we difficult to repair. The plastic on these usually break due to being exposed to sun so it could be brittle and will break again .

That is a good idea Ali Babba ! My only fear is that the plastic could not sit well on the metal wire and the two sides will be open... still worth a try...

Unforunatelly, playmobil hellas, the greek playmobil division, does not provide any single part or accessory in any quantity! They simply do not accept any orders of that kind...

Wolf Knight, first make the groove and make sure it is deep enough for the wire. Then glue the 2 halves together. When you are satisfied that there is no gap, they fit properly and the glue is dry, then glue the wire in.

If you like fiddly work and have good eyesight (and the proper fine tools) you can make a staple. At both ends of the groove drill a hole. A blind hole, not all the way through. Bend both ends of the wire so the ends fit in the holes. Then glue as described above. That would make a fairly good connection, if the staple fits snugly.
