Those of you with an eagle eye might have recognized figures inspired by my favourite shows "Bridgerton " and "The Gilded Age" as well Victorian celebrities and iconic characters such as Mr Charles Dickens and little Lord Fauntleroy  ;)

Happy 1st December dear Friends !

I hope that you are all well and enjoying a relaxing Sunday !

With Christmas fast approaching, Miss Charlotte has been busier than ever in her little fashion boutique with many celebrity guests of her time :

Lady Victoria Harvey was a Victorian socialite & model who became the "It Girl" of her time and later dedicated her life to her beloved daughters Clara & Lavinia.

The flamboyant young Lord Byron was becoming the toast of the London Society and ordered an outfit to match his status as a celebrity.

Frances Hodgson Burnett was a British American author famous for her children's novels "The Little Princess", "Little Lord Fauntleroy" and "The Secret Garden"

The ever so busy Mrs Banks spent her afternoon supporting the Suffragettes movement for Women's right to vote, then stopped at Hamleys for toy shopping and was just in time for her dress fitting.

Maria Malibran was the most celebrated Opera Singer of her time famous for her Prima Donna demands, extravagant lifestyle and love of her pooches "Bijou" & "Pirate"

Good evening dear Friends

I hope that you are all very well preparing a festive & happy Christmas with your family.

I hope that the festive pictures of my Christmas adventures in England have inspired you the spirit & joy of the holiday season  :gent:

Two joyful little elves magically appeared one morning by Mrs Applepie's little cottage that they decorated for Christmas.

Mrs Applepie woke up early on that snowy day as she was about to bake a feast of sweet festive delights for the opening of her little patisserie the following day.

Festive cupcakes, merry gingerbread men, dainty Christmas cakes, delicious Mince Pies  and one very special visitor who came especially from the North Pole to bring his extra special Mulled Wine recipe.

On the morning of the opening day of the little patisserie, the jolly little elves decorated the door and windows with beautiful snow kissed holly garlands with gingerbread men & women, sugar canes, baked Christmas trees, Mince Pies and pine cones.

The opening was a great success with a few illustrious Victorian visitors such as Little Lord Fauntleroy who came with his Mother abd their dog Heathcliff, the distinguished Christmas Carol Singer Florence St John and of course Mr Charles Dickens himself with his dog Scrooge

I wish you a lovely evening !
