Good evening dear Friends

I hope that you are all well and that you have enjoyed your Easter week-end !

Here, Springtime is on full speed and the forecast is for a sunny and very mild week ahead in my corner of the world.

Did you give in into sweets during the week-end ? I must admit that though I am following a rather strict & healthy diet since I lost 10 kgs last autumn following a diet which had me changing drastically my eating habits and practising a physical activity on a daily basis - I allow myself to have one chocolate break per week and one glass of wine per meal at home? Working into Hospitality involves hectic and irregular working hours with meals eaten very much in a hurry, but I know by experience that my profession is not alone to involve hectic eating habits which can lead to more serious health conséquences if one is not vigileant.

Anyway, it was inspired by my legendary appetite for good things that I set up the decor and scènes of my little victorian kitchen which took me no less than 3 afternoons to complete the 7th and last chapter of this making of.

I worked Easter Monday up to noon and dedicated my afternoon to put the final little touches to the kingdom of Mrs Applepie the Cook surrounded by Ms Bridget, Ms Adelaïde, Young Peter and of course Rupert the Cat who has been a regular feature of my work for as far as I can remember

I know that this project may sound a little daunting and certainly lenghty to some of you, but I am developping it like a miniature project.

I shot the 7th and last chapter around the theme of a Cherry Pie with a spirit as yummy and joyful as possible and I was truly delighted after shooting the last pictures in the late afternoon  :cloud9:

I now invite you to follow the result of my work around the kingdom of Mrs Appelpie  :lens:

Have a great week !

Karim
