Has anyone noticed....
« on: June 13, 2010, 12:48:46 »
...that the limited edition 4418 recycling truck in the UK doesn't have flashing orange light unit?  I hadn't until I came across an eBay auction for one where the reason for sale was the lack of the flashing light.

Here's a link from the PM website which clearly shows it missing.  (They have even updated 360 degree to take account of the omission.)

I had to look to confirm that you meant "as compared to 3121 - Recycling Truck", not "as compared to a previous (or other-country) version of itself".  It never came with one, but in all other respects the vehicle is identical to the one in 3121, except for colour, so a 30 67 0180 - Electric emergency light unit from 3121 will fit it.

Yes, Heather, I know and I actually a suitable light unit already for when I buy the truck.  However, I was certain that it had been out in orange before with the flashing light unit.

Yes I bought this truck new from TRU last year, not realising it didn't have any :( but I suppose it is just Playmobil trying to cut costs!
