i wonder if the people are so crazy about steck why they are so many available on ebay and cheap as well?

Since more people are buying steck, sellers want to sell more...thus lowering the prices...and they will sell more in lower prices than little in higher prices!!!

Going back on topic  ;D - I would like to buy some - but not that many.
They are cool and open up new options - but MacGayver is right; with a little extra effort you can build around them (most of the times) ...

I think they become more usefull when the building becomes larger and more complex.
Unfortunately I lach the space for the first and steck-parts for the last  ;D.

so a packet or 2 to 4 will be more then enough for me ...

I think I would order 32 pieces to start with :-) It would make building so much easier. I was lucky to get one in a Steck lot last week (without knowing, a beautiful surprise) and there was one place where it was needed right away but would have optimized the building in a couple of other places.

Probably will quickly order another 32.

I couldn't really give you a number of pieces I would order...
I don't work quite that way.
I buy a castle and then attatch it to the castle I have in some way shape or form.

So if they produced a castle with those pieces in it, I would like it alot...
But I would probably in all fairness buy only, like, 2 packages of four.

3 or 4 sets of four and that would get me by for now. Steck prices here in the US on ebay is getting outrageous high for me.

I agree if it's a one time only thing then I guess I'd get about 8 - 10 sets but if it was regular 4 sets for sure, what I'd really love would be the same thing but 5 slots high to use on the Victorian houses instead! :P
