Great set and a great review of it, with a worthy appearance by the Abbot himself! North America seems to have had several of these "ruin" sets that reached UK shores, though they apparently made it to Greece.
I like this particular Wolf Clan design the best, as a mixed bunch of not-quite-chivalric knights. I've been lucky to acquire the figures from this set, but not the whole ruin. Mine are camping out in my Dark Castle - at least they will be when I have time ro reassemble it.
The old horse's caparison beats the modern style into a cocked hat. What were the designers thinking with the "Clifford the Dog" headwear on the modern horse? Why no printing?
