Very nice man!  What kind of paint did you use or did I miss that?

Thank you Elric! I used a water based spray called ''hobby colors''.

I came across this one, and even though it's not all that old, I hadn't seen it; it's from shortly before I joined, so I thought I'd bump it!

Panos, what a beautiful dragon! Very nice paint job and choice of colors. The purple eyes and claws are just the right touch. It's really great!

Oh, lovely (the petting pic is AWESOME)

Now I WANT A GOLD DRAGON TOO!! :hissyfit:

Is there a special type of paint? Does it "hold" - as in can you tub him with the others and they don't get all golden?

We never actually painted anything... but we have several green ones..

The tricky part is to take him apart first... I am sure I have a pic of him taken apart, I'll have a look... Once figure out how to take him apart it is easy to do it again... if you remember how to that is... and I dont  :-[  But when I find the pic, I'll post it here and I'm sure it'll come back to me.

As for the paint, you paint each part seperately, in three or four thin layers, on each side... waiting to dry and then you put it back together... you best leave it for a few days, maybe a week, untouched, after that, as time passes by, the paint is better solidified on the plastic and, unless you scratch it off on purpose, its not coming off in tubs, nor left on other items... I think I used a water based colour spray for thins one...

Ok, tahra, here it is... poor beasty... but I think it was worth it... I now recall once you take the arms off, then its easier for the whole thing to come apart...

Thanks George!

(double post)

I gave the arms a pull today and nothing happened.. But from the pic it looks like it's that way, just pull..

Can you confirm that (if you remember?)

Yes thats it, just pull and it comes off easily... maybe try pulling a little harder?
