Downtime caused by recent database error

Thanks to the fast-working support team at Dreamhost, the forum is back in working order! :yippee:

I have no idea what caused the error, but I sure am relieved they were able to fix it. That was very scary!

Just a small heads-up about this...

The site has been backed up from a period in time before the database error occured. Consequently you may find a few small gaps - missing posts, that type of thing. I've already been informed of a biggie - our most recent new member's profile has vanished! :o Working on getting her back right now...

i am so happy everything is o.k. again.  ;D
i managed to contact richard yesterday not to feel like an orphan in my misery of seeing playmofriends "down".  :-[
the recent playmoboard vanishing came stupidly to my mind so many times.  :no:

Whew, that was a scary thing :0! Glad to see this problem resolved, 'cause I felt all alone :(! It's a good thing I procrastinated about posting another photo story that may have disappeared :o!

Thanks for the quick fix Sylvia. Playmofriends is one of the few sites I check daily, often several times a day, so it's a relief to have it back so quickly.

Like cachalote I was thinking "oh no, not again"  :wave:
