You can also use a Halloween fog effect machine, as I did.

from what material was made the sea on the old boxes and katalogs??enjoy the art of playmobil at those years!!

The first one is cellophane, not cling film (too soft) and the other ones are just real water and photo shop.
Look at the third link, the rowboat is sinking, but you can't see the part that is sunk??
The real sand on the beaches isn't wet, but the water looks so real, it's almost impossible to fake  waves like that!!

hmm i thought of that too Bill...how much would it cost???

I bought mine at KMart here in the USA for a reduced price of $25.00 in their after Halloween sale, brand new complete with a small bottle of fog solution! It works great for a fog that you want to lay close to the ground!
  Forget about all of the other stuff,....all we need is the reintroduction of the 3526 Fire Engine!

 i don't think it's water been photoshopped because in 1990 i don't think photoshop was existing what do you think?? the other thought that i made is it might be glue? waiting to see you sea photos!!!!!!
