If they have it in stock, yes!

Last year I contacted DS United Kingdom requesting a few items but they forwarded my requests to Playmobil Hellas only to be denied because here they are not selling single parts or accessories. Maybe DS UK did not know that...

I see the confusion. Discounted means reduced in price, the word you meant is discontinued.

You can TRY to order any part from any set if you know the part number.

Bear in mind that some parts have acquired new numbers over the years, so always go for the newest number you know for a part.

Yes.  I don't understand why you find this concept so difficult to grasp.

If all the pieces ever produced were remade you could buy them from DS and assemble any set you want, but it would cost several times the original set price. Boxes are NOT remade for the DS market so any set in a box must be at least partially original.

Not all pieces are still available from DS, but many are, even pieces originally released years ago.

Some pieces are so popular through DS that Playmobil appear to still be making them for that market alone. However it could just be that they made a lot of spares years ago, and they will eventually run out.

Even recent pieces (e.g. roman helmet 30 26 5810) run out at times but more are made, so it is possible to order, be told it isn't in stock, and then a few weeks/months later it is back in stock.

This is particularly noticeable for the US market.

I tried requesting the same from our DS in Athens, Playmobil Funpark but they would not do such a thing...they are only selling a few discontinued sets and various parts organised in sets, like the complete sets that any DS are selling....

Try writing to German DS and as if they will supply you with parts, explaining that you cannot buy them from the Greek DS.  There's no need to write in German; I've written in English and 'phoned them and used English with no problems.
