Well playmofriends..the long wait (for the church only i'm afraid) is over...

I must say i am not very thrilled with the result...as i was expecting a lighter version of grey...this is actually a blueish grey and its the same colour that the dragonland towers have!!!

And as we said in other threads these wholes do look bad... i am thinking of adding gargoyles on them.... maybe the dragon heads from the dragonland towers...30 20 4642 - Gargoyle dragon head and upper jaw

What is most impressive with this set are the windows...

If you pay more attention to detail you'll see the playmobil children faces of a boy and a girl on the vitro...

The church organ is a nice touch although not really sure there were any of these in medieval times...were there? I cannot remember...

Too bad the bride and groom will not enjoy this chapel as much as my medieval klickies will.... ;D ;D ;D

what are the gargoyles?

As quoted from wikipedia : ''In architecture, a gargoyle is a carved stone grotesque with a spout designed to convey water from a roof and away from the side of a building. ''

There are a lot of interesting information on that page...http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gargoyle

The playmobil gargoyles are these...30 20 4642 - Gargoyle dragon head and upper jaw

Yes this gargoyle was only produced for this set. The church costs 70 euros....
