As I can recall the lyra boxes were not wrapped. But never had a series two lyra playmobil (i think, maybe not boxed))
I can remember that there were various sets like the western or medieval houses that yes they were wrapped. These boxes had no dioramas as the beck of the box was made of this afrolex matterial so as not to damage the pieces inside... i have on of these boxes...somewhere.... i'll dig it out and take a picture.

There were dioramas in all the other boxes...

the case is in genural about the boxes i just want to start from something  so from when did the wrapping started to exist and when did it stop from my experience i think it stopped at 1995 in some boxes. at the 70's  how where the two parts of the box hold together they had the plastic wrapping ?? the back part of the box had this afrolex material or paper?

I can never recall any box being wrapped in the 90's...even the early 90's...
Yes in the 70's and 80's the two parts of the box, back being the afrolex, and note that i am talking only about big sets like the framework houses, the were held together by wrapping.
I really do not know when this wrapping stopped...I guess when the boxes were all made of charton....I can also recall a set 3436 stable produced in 1985 being wrapped but it was all charton....
So maybe yes, the wrapping stoped in the late 80's....i guess...

i don't remember either any boxes being wrapped at the 90's but i 've seen on ebay many set such the western train , the island 3799 , the clipper ship , plus others that were available at the 90's or they were produced at the 90's after the wrapping  ,the parts of the boxes were hold together with a small tape writting playmobil on it.
