Congratulations!!!  :apple:

I saw one on the dusty shelf of a toy store but didn't buy it and now regret it. Is the older model better than the newer princess castles? Should I pick it up if it is still there?  :eh?:

You need to get it.  It makes the new one pale in comparison.  It is way over twice as big as the new one - more like 3 or 4 times as big if you were to calculate all the pieces.

AND

You can put it together in two different ways (the instructions show you both ways).  Word of warning - keep the extra pieces you do not use on the second castle in a zip-lock bag in the box so you do not misplace them.

I have two of these and you can put them together to make even larger castles!!!

You can use your steck walls to build a wall around the princess castle so you can put all your stuff together and have it work.  That way you can justify why you need to buy more steck castle pieces/sets for your daughter(s) who doesn't really play with the medieval sets on their own.   ;D

Wesley this is an excellent idea!!!
You can also, as Wesley might already know from his set, place the magic theme sets, such as 3841 Dragon's Temple and 3896 Fairy's Waterfall, at a small forest outside the steck fortification  ;) Its in a poster in the box!

Well, the box is already open, as playmobil stickers are quite warn off, but I am not planning to set it up anytime in the near future. I have my hands full with a police project and have no room to start on another right now...

I do hope you get it and have great playmotime with it!

This is the poster I'm familiar with.

The top one is the poster and the bottom image is from the catalog.  They are the same except for the poster has the queen in it with the princess super-imposed but the catalogue photo has the princess where the queen is.

Can you take a photo of the other you have and post it, perchance?
