I'll probably end up broke.... :lol: :lol: :lol:.

Thing is, almost nobody is interested in selling their second hand toys,or any possesions for that matter, there are no garage sales, fleamarkets etc to get good bargains, so ebay is the only solution! Thus, more expensive costs of shipping and posting.... not to mention, as you know, prices for an item... Huge lots are out of the question too as 90% of such listings are not shipping outside the country....

You are right - the situation's the same in Malta. We have no proper flea markets we can go to, and only a few car boot sales with the same vendors week in and week out. Sometimes when I'm in Brussels I visit the odd market, last I was there I went to Jeu de Balles or whatever it's called ... and ALL I found, PM-wise, was ONE of the old-style totem poles! A market where you could find a gazillion Nazi daggers and Sacha Distel records, and only one totem pole.

I really like this topic WK! It's one of my favourites ... and I guess I can enjoy your (many) purchases in an extremely vicarious manner. I wish I could have the recklessness to buy as much as you do  ;D ;D ;D ;D

My PLAYMOBIL memory of childhood has faded.....since I only got several sets and not many were imported back then....and my parents bought them from the store instead of me choosing....

All I can do is looking at the archive imagining how nice it could be for me to have them all :wave:
