...to ask what was going to happen to the fire brigade display material which had disappeared from the window in the last few days. The assistant (maybe the manageress, actually) said it depended, so I explained that I was wanting to offer the large cardboard klicky fireman a good home. I was passed on to Hazel, the owner of the shop who I know and she asked what parts I wanted from the display. I explained it was really just the fireman cutout, but she said I could have anything, whether the display material or the Playmobil vehicles (a 4820, a 4821 and a 4822, the last not even out of its box). I decided not to be greedy and asked for the 4821 and the fireman cutout. The 4821 is lacking most of the smaller parts, although they are somewhere in the shop if I want them, but I have most if not all of them spare from DS. I will call in tomorrow to ask for the box for the 4821 to keep it in (I forgot to ask for this I was so overwhelmed by Hazel's kindness) and I imagine some of the smaller bits will be in there. Even if they aren't, I have a 4821 with the hose reels and storage trays, plus a female firefighter whcih was standing on top of it, and the display figure for free.
There are pics below of my "haul".
