Photos of fire engine 4821
« on: March 27, 2010, 16:45:33 »
After reading Gordon's review of fire engine 4821 I decided to treat myself to one, and have taken some pics of it. I won't go into any detail of the product as Gordon has kindly already done so ;)

I have made the equipment lockers up from sets 4821 and 4825. The pump from set 4825 fits nicely into it's hole, and it is rather suprising as to how much equipment can be jammed in there :o

I do believe that this is the best fire engine that Playmobil has yet made (subject to buying 4820) and I would thoroughly recommend buying one ;)

Have you not got them there yet, Bill? I thought that you got them at the same time as us (1 year after release) :hmm:

Glad you like the 4821, Damo.  And you've fitted it out well, too.

Have you tried then pump out?  In the 4825 set I bought in Malta, the pump had a slight leak where it had been separated from the sprue.  (There is a little dimple where the sprue was.)  However, a bit of polystyrene glue will solve the problem.  However, I've never found the new pressurised system all that good and really prefer the first "press a knob" pump system.
