(Bug ... pictures used to be really cool! Notice how the photographer took the care of putting the woman in the angle with the mirror, so as to reflect her! #wonderful!)

Gus  :wave:

Are you seriously implying that MY Mrs Macclesfield has been been a fraud all these years  :lol:

Oh, my God ! I am in need of psychotherapist after such a shocking revelation  8}

Karim :)

PS : memo to all adults Playmo Collectors : NEVER pour yourself a glass of Merlot when unpacking the boxes and assembling your klickies  :lol: This was my first mistake and this surely will not be my last  :-[

PS 2 : Playmo89  :wave: I would not have spent such a fortune on a 2nd hand collection ! Yes, the theme had just been released in France hence its extortionate price  8}

As for psychotherapy, I think there are members in the forum who might give a hand ... People in the field .. xD

i don't know the french money value ,that's why i guessed it's from a second hand . i was a child at that time i wasn't able to play with playmobil because i was little. i would like to have the feeling you had then with the new toys today but there is not that intresting toys made today so we collect the toys of the past with 10 times up the price you bought them then i think!!

In today's money, it would be about 600 Euros which is by all means very expensive...still  8}

The theme had just been released and I remember that the toy shop had only one large house, one horse carriage and one Oldtimer car available  :love:

Well 1989, that "feeling" is indeed hard to describe as Playmobil produced a Theme that I had dreamed about and would not have designed better should have I been involved in the design process   ;)

I vividly remember passing in front of this large toy shop and froze in front of the window displaying the Victorian Theme ( Belle Epoque in French ) and it was simply "love at first sight"  :love:

It was a scorching hot summer and I was listening to Paula Abdul's dance remixes on my walkman !

My taste in music has evolved - thanks God for this - but my addiction remained !

So you see my Friend, a 20 years old love story  ;)
