Ebay.de sellers very rarely accept Pay Pal! Most German sellers accept bank transfer as a preferred payment!

True , however as i pretty much buy most of my playmo on ebay , big playmo ebay sellers like librejoggen and hilten  do accept paypal and they have so so many playlo parts and goodies . combining shipping for combined orders is a good way to buy lots of sets and parts at a discounted price on ebay .
:knight: Steck is Holy . Bring back more steck sets and its guardians , the Nuremberg Guards :knight:

libreloggen will not sell to anyone outside of the European union no matter what! They accept Pay Pal, but only for that market area! I have inquired many times offering to pay what ever cost they needed me to pay for certain items, but was told no each time! I don't understand why it is such a problem, because I do business with several other German sellers that charge very fair shipping rates & are great to work with!

Maybe they are not comfortable with currency conversion?

It would be a real shame if they don't try and sell again on Ebay.

I wonder why they didn't try and sell them on the official Playmobil UK website first as a special offer?

That would be strange, after all it is much more convenient to change currency types through Pay Pal.

Indeed, though Paypal will take a lergar fee than using other conversion methods. Hoevere that's ther buyer's problem, not the seller's.

More likely they don't want to deal with all the hassle of posting the sets to a foreign country. When I was selling stuff (not Playmobil) on eBay last Summer, I'd frequently get enquiries of the sort "How much to post this item to Latvia", and I'd spend half an hour weighing the item (in packaging), and looking up the postage rate to that country, and then the enquirer wouldn't even bid.

Sadly postage services around the world is getting more expensive, and at the same time less effective. We may soon have no Saturday deliveries in the USA.  :(

You don't say! The Greek post office does not work on Saturdays. The postman never delivers a package! Instead he brings a small piece of paper that says ''your item has arrived but you'll have to come and pick it up tomorrow'' (for ridiculous bureaucratic reasons) and then again you have to wait in the line for something that you have already paid to be brought to you....and if the package is USPS there is a 3 euro customs fee (because they went through a lot of trouble just processing the package)!!!
VERY VERY VERY frustrating!!!

It was much simpler when I was studying in the UK. The Royal Mail red van would always bring the package to my door and the postman would say ''you must be very popular, lots of people sending you presents and all''...

A large box has arrived by post marked Playmobil Display, inside the box was the contents of the Water Display. It consisted flat packed the shop display stand and boxes 4461, 4462, 4463, 4464, 4465, 4466, 4467, and 4468 all marked with a orange sticker with Decoration on it in black.
The following items were also in the box partly assembled, but no glue had been used so that they could be taken apart. 4462 Penguins, 4463 Alligator Basin, 4464 Zookeeper Caddy, 4467 Zoo Visitors and 4468 Dolphin Basin.
All the assemble instruction sheets and the instruction sheet for the shop display were included.
Defiantly value for money, I will now have to start gluing them together to fit on my Playmobil layout.

Congratulations on a good buy, Walter.

When is your next train show, please?  We weren't able to get to Lincoln because of other commitments.

Help

Ok I'm an idiot!!! I've just realised I forgot all about sending off my cheque to Playmobil until I was just looking at the new News threads. Unfortunately ebay was wiped out all the details of the Pirate Display. I've got an email with the other items pictured below but not this one and I can't remember how much it was for I think it was £39 plus shipping -  Can any one remember by chance otherwise I shall have to call them tomorrow and feel more of an idiot than I do now!
Thanks Emma  :-[ :-[ :-[
