ooerr, I don't know, but it looks like it could be part of furniture or a construction piece. Have you considered that it might not be Playmo

Well on the bottom of the piece says "Playmobil" so i am sure its Playmobil.

I probably didn't find as i was looking for 'blue stand', but Heather had it down as being black

That's not very long at all for such a great looking set, although obviously nobody thought this

Well, if a set is discontinued (i.e. it is not produced anymore) the stock of produced items is likely to hold for several years afterwards.
