I'm still voting daily,
although the pop-up screens are playing havoc with the computer and freezing it up each time so I have to keep going into task manager and ending everything and closing the internet down and restarting it 8}

Thanks, Flatcat!

BTW, try throwing out the focus.de "cookie" after you vote, and see if that helps.

All the best,
Richard

WE MAY INDEED BE IN A VOTING WAR!

It appears that a group of unknown voters may be deliberately voting against PLAYMOBIL ...

During the last two hours ...

Bundesbank only got 20 votes.
PLAYMOBIL got 37 votes.

Because Bundesbank has a total of 57329 votes
And, Playmobil only has 5411 votes
Then, proportionaly 37 votes will have a much greater impact on Playmobil
than 20 votes will have on Bundesbank.

So, that strongly suggests that there are people voting 6's against Playmobil!

Wish we knew who they were!
And, why they're doing it!

CAN WE VOTE MORE
AND DEFEAT THE ATTACKERS?

PLEASE VOTE AS OFTEN AS POSSIBLE!
(And, please continue to tell your friends and families to vote, vote vote!)

Together, we can defeat them!

hello all.
don't you think that this vote war could be hurting playmobil?  :-\
whenever a company gets in the spotlight, a lot of people have a way to try to say bad things about it.  :(
i guess this seems to be the case and the "war" scenario that seems to surround this voting will not help.

we all seem to love playmobil (which is not the same as loving horst brandstatter by the way) but let's not forget that maybe that is not the case for everybody else.
although i think that a company with so many workers (votes) as volkswagen or bundesbank can easily win this kind of competition maybe we can also consider that playmobil can raise some animosity amongst some groups of people.
some will dislike the quantity of animals being kept in zoos, the disproportion between male and female figures, the disproportion between "white" skin and "brown" skin figures, the quantity of "christian" themes, the ban on comtemporary war figures, etc..

maybe we should not be surprised that this kind of irresponsible "voting" (apparently there is also the possibility to vote "against") grows into a "war".
  :hmm:

Lets make Playmobil realise that even against a greater "opposing" force we are still strong!

If Bundesbank has cottoned on to the fact that they might get beaten by a comparatively tiny toy company, they've probably asked all their employees to vote every day on their computers at work. It will be difficult to beat their numbers, but I think we have shown Geobra the level of support they get from the adult toy collecting community.

Has anyone posted about this on Facebook? There are a number of Playmobil groups there whose members might be activated into voting with a well designed post to their discussion boards. Despite Cachalote's reservations, I think it is in all our interests to show our support for the company and its boss in this way, and only takes a minute every day.

Also, is there any indication of a closing date for voting?

They're doing worse than that, Martin!

They're not just voting for Bundesbank, they're also voting against Playmobil! (Yes, it's possible to vote for or against as many of the 93 companies as you want during EACH voting session!)

And, they're CHEATING!
(I've finally figured out how they're doing it.) ...

Using Firefox as the browser ...

First:
All they have to do is vote for Bundesbank, then vote against Playmobil.
Second: Then ... All they have to do is go to Firefox "Preferences", click on "Privacy" in the menu, then click on "Show Cookies", select focus.de and click on "Remove Cookies".
Third: Vote again. And, if they keep closing Firefox, they can vote again and again and again ...

And, unfortunately, it may not be just Bundesbank employees. For all we know there may even be members here that are voting against Playmobil.

Don't ask me why anyone would do that. It would be really stupid when we have so much to gain!

All the best my friends ... And, please keep voting!
Richard

I've been doing the cookie deletion option since I started voting Richard! That made it possible to vote multiple times in favor of Playmobil during the day for me! I have to admit though, I've been doing the others a disservice with sixes :evilplan: when you told us about the voting against Playmobil, turn about's fair play ;)!

I've been managing to vote for Playmobil more than once a day but things like 'preferences' and 'cookies' are too technical for me, so don't know why I've been able to do so.  ???
(The only cookies I know anything about are the ones I bake for the produce fair )
