and... I have a half destroyed 5305 small house I found... it makes me really willing to restore it now!! I'm not very good with my hands... well a bit awkward... but I am really inspired by what you've made!!

Its always fun to restore playmobil sets! You can go throught the pages of playmoDB to see what you are missing and then seach ebay to get the missing parts. Cleaning the item, like a house, ship, or any parts is really fun!! All you need is patience and believe me, you'll have fun!!!

the fact is, I have already all the missing parts (I've found the last ones 3 months ago), but I was so busy with my new job I couldn't go ahead... now that I'm used to my new rythm of life, I really want to do it :) 1st step... painting white the parts that have yellowed with time...

Maybe its better to clean the yellowed parts!!! See the ''how to'' threads for tips on cleaning with various materials, such as bleach or H2O2!

nah... already tried everything else, and it didn't work (or other methods I haven't tried since they damage the plastic...) but the paint I've already used for my penguins is very good :)

So let me get this right - these all started out as train stations? Or did I get the wrong end of the stick there?

Such attention to detail and imagination. I am so jealous of your set ups! And great use of non-PM stuff, especially the mini-Sylvanian houses!
